Meet the Therapist behind Bright Sparks

Hi, I’m Stacey…

Smiling woman with short, turquoise hair sitting in front of green plants and an abstract artwork.

I’m the owner and physiotherapist behind Bright Sparks Physiotherapy

I came to Physiotherapy as a second career after studying environmental tourism and paleontology. After learning first-hand what it’s like to experience chronic illness and the healthcare process I wanted to use my love of science to help people make lasting, impactful changes and make the process collaborative and enjoyable!

After gaining my Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia, I started my career as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in a private practice in Nuriootpa. I have experience working with a wide variety of clients and pursued additional training across a variety of skills including:

  • Dry Needling

  • Exercise for MS and Neurological Conditions

  • Hydrotherapy

  • Mulligan Concept Manual Therapy

  • Selective Functional Movement Assessment

  • Management of post-exertional malaise

  • Hypermobility and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome

  • Pilates Reformer

I moved back to an Adelaide metro practice in 2024 in order to pursue my interest in mentoring and educating physiotherapy students and early-career clinicians.

I always wanted to return to rural practice and I missed being a part of my wonderful local community.

I love meeting new people and getting to work with each new client in a unique and personal way!

I realised there was a lack of community-based, NDIS-funded Allied Health Care within my local area and so Bright Sparks was born.

“ My passion lies in creating bright sparks in everyday lives - I believe therapy should be fun and engaging, exciting and personal all in one and I want you to look forward to our sessions together! ”

I can’t wait to help you achieve your goals!

Nice to Meet You!
